Refund policy
Shipping Policy
All standard orders will ship within 5 business days unless otherwise noted.
Reasons that shipping may take longer are as follows:
- Pre-Order items do not fall under our 5 day shipping timeframe.
- Out of office periods. (website banner will display notice)
- Custom merch orders.
Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
We do not accept returns on used/open items.
If your item was marked as delivered and you have not received it, please contact your mail carrier directly. Lost packages in the mail are not eligible for return/refund/replacement.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Returns that do not have a valid justification for not keeping the product, such as disliking the color, wanting a different size, not reading the product description, or simply no longer wanting the item, will incur a restocking fee of $10. Customers are responsible for return shipping fees. Upon receipt and inspection of the product to ensure it is still in new condition, the remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment method within 2-5 business days.
International returns will incur a restocking fee that reflects what your shipping label cost was. Please keep in mind, international shipping fees we charge are actual costs we incur to ship to you.
We do not profit off international shipping charges, therefore we will deduct any label cost from a return.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We will always cover all costs for replacement of damaged or defective items for up to 90 days of the purchase date.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned. Custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), oversized goods(Kraken Flowstars), and personal care goods are not eligible for returns. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Due to lithium battery shipping laws, any item with a lithium battery requires special shipping and handling. For any items needing to be mailed back to us with a lithium battery, we require you to please email us first at trippysquidstore@gmail.com. This is a no-exception rule.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards or B-Grade items.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. You are responsible to ship this back to us. You are also responsible for any shipping charges we incurred sending you your order.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
